Maybe you have had a recent enlightening experience or the scriptures above really speak to you. No matter what your situation is salvation is available to anyone that believes Jesus is Lord and asks for forgiveness for their sins. Here are two examples of prayers to help you do just that:

Prayers to Receive Christ
“ Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to save me from my sin. Lord Jesus, please forgive me of my sin. I ask you to come into my heart. Thank you God for saving me. I love you Jesus. Amen.”

“ Dear God, I recognized that I’m a sinner and that I need to accept and believe on the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for me to pay for my sins; I repent and turn away from my sins, please come into my heart to live in me and to change me from the inside out. Help me to please you by being who you created me to be and by doing what you created me to do. Give me the desire to know you and to grow in an intimate relationship with you.”

Along with prayer and strengthening your relationship with Jesus Christ, one of the most important things you can do is find a physical church and community to support you in your journey. We are called to commune with our neighbors and love them.

There are many different types of denominations and styles of churches. It may be a journey to find just the right fit for you and your family, but to get started here’s a helpful website where you can enter your location to find some nearby churches – http://www.usachurches.org/

If you would like to be baptized you can do so through your local church, or if you are located near one of our racetracks we can assist you in connecting with a Chaplain as well.
